Mark is a senior consultant, entrepreneur and speaker in the Media, Technology and Knowledge industries. A former principal of Booz Allen's Communication's Media and Technology practice, he is also a founder of Captive Media, the multi-award winning digital screen network. Mark has worked with some of the world's leading organisations including the BBC, Vodafone and the Downing Street Policy Unit and Cabinet Office of the British Government. His particular interests are innovation, growth strategy and business transformation. He is a frequent speaker on marketing to millennials and the new rules of media. He is a Cambridge and INSEAD graduate, Virgin Start-Up mentor and GLG Council Member.
Captive Strategic Leadership, Mark's consulting business, supports senior executives in the Media, Communications and Consumer Products industries. Focus areas include Corporate and Portfolio Strategy, Business Development, Innovation, Turnaround, and Organisation Design Captive Media Ltd, the interactive digital out-of-home media network Mark co-founded, has won global recognition and exported to 15 countries, becoming one of the most talked about start-ups of recent years. It has won awards in three countries including a Drum Content Award, Brand Republic Digital Award, Guardian Small Business Award, Toronto Ad Club Showcase Award and been global finalist in Richard Branson's Extreme Tech Challenge. At Booz & Company, Mark co-led the Communications, Media and Technology Practice and published numerous reports and articles on policy in the Knowledge Economy including ‘Universal Access’ for the Downing Street Policy Unit. He was a founder of Booz & Company’s Government and Transformation Practice in the UK, which became the fastest growing and most profitable practice in Europe. |
